Our Story

Evergreen Counseling Center was founded over 20 years ago in The Woodlands, Texas.  The small group of Therapists worked in the community with children, adolescents, young adults, adults and families.   The mission of the corporation was founded on the principle that mental health has equal value to physical health and wellness should be achieved through the balance of all systems.  We rely on establishing a solid rapport with clients and emphasize an eclectic approach to services.   The client will guide the process in order to fulfill their personalized treatment goals. 

As our entire world changed through the events of 2020, counseling services also evolved.  Although many reflect on the negative ramifications of the year, there were many positive elements to also surface.  Access to care was positively impacted.  Our virtual world existence helped fill the void for individuals who continued to reach out for help.  Our re-designed approach for Evergreen Counseling Center is to use virtual therapy sessions (telehealth) to reach our clients throughout the state of Texas.  This platform is offered through a safe, secure format of video conferencing.
